About Us

The purpose of the Douglas County Historic Preservation Board is to provide recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners regarding the designation of historic landmarks or historic districts in unincorporated Douglas County and to assist in oversight of historic resource allocations from the Parks, Trails, Historic Resources and Open Space (PTHROS) Sales and Use Tax fund.
