As the Vice President of Colorado Utilities, you will be responsible and accountable for the management of operational excellence, identifying and driving strategic transformation, and supporting the execution of strategic growth and financial results for the gas and electric utilities you lead. 
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 
Accountable for driving a culture focused on delivering safe, reliable and cost-effective energy.  
Establish long-term and annual business objectives and key results. 
Engage team in goal setting aligned with enterprise objectives.
Track and communicate progress to team, peers and supervisor.
Identify and drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives focused on strategic growth of the business. 
Strategically partner with functional leads to engage in the development of political, policy and regulatory matters. 
Engage in energy transition, development of western energy markets, and emerging technology opportunities. 
Engage in the development and execution of strategic growth programs. 
Build relationships with key stakeholders including peer utilities, regulators, key customers and vendors.
Responsible and accountable for achieving financial targets and results for Colorado utilities as part of the utility segment.
In partnership with the financial team, lead the long-term planning and annual budget processes for Colorado utilities.
Own financial decisions and understand results that drive the income statement, capital spend and cash flows; ensure cost effectiveness of decisions.
Ensure prudency of financial decisions aligned with enterprise objectives.
Identify and understand business risks and align and execute mitigation efforts with enterprise.
Be an enterprise cultural leader.
Accountable for creating a workplace environment that promotes diversity, belonging, safety, fair and equal treatment of employees, open communication and the highest standards of ethical behavior.
Encourage innovation and continuous improvement aligned with enterprise objectives.
Manage employee matters including development, performance improvement and performance management.
Maintain strong and open working relationships with peers and enterprise support departments.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
Minimum of (10) ten years of increasingly progressive leadership and management experience in the utility field or comparable industry/leadership experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or other relevant field strongly preferred
