SALARY

$20/hour

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a recent graduate or current student enrolled in college. Preference made for junior or senior year students. GPA of 3.0 or higher. Possess an understanding of basic concepts in the supply chain procurement process to include process flows, inventory management, and inventory balancing. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required. Exhibit a high degree of integrity and honesty. Able to use appropriate diplomacy and tact with employees, members, customers, and other contacts. Ability to effectively read, write and speak the English language to communicate in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner. Ability to quickly learn. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Elevated level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility. Motivation and a powerful desire to take on new challenges and learn.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a motivated intern to assist with the supply chain activity. The Intern will be working as part of the Purchasing and Warehousing team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the organization. The Intern will be assisting with supply chain tracking to include tracking project materials and orders, bin validation, cycle counts and expediting past due purchase orders as well as accounts payable reconciliation. This role encompasses learning to work with CORE’s NISC ERP system as well as learning many facets of supply chain activity and supporting operational requirements such as demand forecasting, procurement, order acknowledgment and expediting, receiving, project material fulfillment and inventory reconciliation and optimization. The intern will be taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about procurement and material handling.
