The Castle Rock Chamber is excited to offer the 2026 Tours for Teachers Program through our Talent Pipeline Douglas County Program. Tours for Teachers takes principals, administrators, teachers, counselors and other staff into the workforce allowing them to collaborate on the current and future workforce needs with local businesses. Find out what opportunities are available and how to better equip students with essential skills needed to enter the workforce.
Participants will receive 10 hours of continuing education credit. Participants may register for one tour, two tours, or all three tours.
Our Spring 2026 Program Dates Are:
Tour 1: Engineering, Technology & Cyber Security
Tour Date: February 19th, 2026, 8:00am-3:00pm
Location Arapahoe Community College Sturm Campus Castle Rock
Tour 2: Hospitality, Human Services & Education
Tour Date: March 12th, 2026, 8:00am-3:00pm
Location Hilton Garden Inn Meridian
Tour 3: Natural Resources & Agriculture
Tour Date: April 16th, 2026, 8:00am-3:00pm
Location Castle Rock Water
To apply for participation in the 2026 Tours for Teachers program please:
- Complete the Application
- Attach Supervisor Approval Letter-if we already have one on file, no need for another, unless there has been a change of departments.
The Supervisor Approval Letter is required from your reporting supervisor and should include the following:
"I understand the Tours for Teachers program requires participants to commit to one (or more) full days for the program. These days are calendared school days and will require an approved absence on behalf of the participant. I am in support of this applicant's participation in the Tours for Teachers program."
