Pay: $85,000 – $95,000 per year
 
Job Type: Full-time (salary + visits, M–F, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays)
 
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing to oversee skilled nursing services, supervise field staff, and ensure quality client care. This role involves direct supervision of 8 field RNs and collaboration with the Owner, case managers, referral sources, and other healthcare providers. The Director of Nursing (or qualified alternate) must be available during operating hours and actively participate in all professional service activities.
 
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial client evaluations and regular reassessments.
Develop, initiate, and revise care plans as needed.
Provide nursing services requiring specialized skills.
Initiate preventive and rehabilitative procedures.
Document clinical notes and coordinate services.
Communicate changes in client condition to physicians and staff.
Counsel clients and families on care needs.
Supervise, teach, and support nursing staff.
Participate in in-service training, on call rotation and quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
Current RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in home health or a related field.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Reliable transportation.
BLS Certification (preferred).
Working Conditions:
Office, client home settings, and automobile travel.
May involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases.
Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
