Remote Travel Agent
Travel agents plan vacations; including cruises, lodging, transportation, excursions, tours, airfare, admission to entertainment activites and travel protection for individuals, families and groups. They offer advice on destinations, plan trip itineraries, and make travel arrangements for clients.
Skills and knowledge
- Customer service skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills (basic Excel spreadsheets)
- Ability to sell products and services, and thorough attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor, full commission position. We work with a host travel agency who holds our license and insurance. They provide full and ongoing training. There is a minimal fee to be certified and for the website and insurance.
There is no medical insurance provided.
