As many of you may have heard, CDPHE has come out with a new COVID-19 Dial 2.0, which went into effect Saturday, February 6. With new metrics for the Dial 2.0 Douglas County officially moved to Level Yellow Saturday, February 6. However, 5 Star Businesses, will NOT be allowed to operate at a lower level (Level Blue) until 70% of 70 year-olds in the state are vaccinated with at least one dose, expected to happen by the end of the month. Yesterday, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) released the final requirements for the long awaited “5 star” certified business variance program. CDPHE will start taking applications from counties for the program on Friday December 18, 2020.
